I started volunteering at Fat Fluffs in June 2021 and I love helping to ensure the bunnies have a clean and comfortable environment in which to spend their time as well as interacting with the various bunnies that spend their time at the rescue. And, I can’t lie, I also like the endless supply of compost for my garden! I don’t have any pets at the moment but over the years I’ve had gerbils and numerous rabbits. My first rabbits were Netherland Dwarfs and more recently, I had a couple of crosses, a not-so Dwarf Lop and the most wonderful Orange Rex. I retired in October 2020 and I love travelling, including planning my own trips. I enjoy gardening and have another volunteer role in the gardens at National Trust Hanbury Hall. I also spending time in my own garden and greenhouse and have developed an interest in propagating plants from seed and cuttings. I like watching many sports and my husband and I are avid fans of the Denver Nuggets basketball team and watch every match! We’ve also seen them play live, which was a fantastic experience.
