We first met Doodles when visiting the rescue - it was love at first sight but he had been reserved by someone else. I checked the website daily hoping to find a friend for my female rabbit pip after her sister rabbit passed away, and a short time later when Doodles reappeared on the website I felt that it was meant to be and contacted the rescue straight away. They were bonded by the Fat fluffs team thankfully as it wasn't all plain sailing and when they came home we all had adjustments to make. Pip and Doodles had the odd disagreement and scuffle in the early days and Doodles needed time to get used to us and the new house, particularly the staircase which he found terrifying being so little. However with a little care and patience (and lots of e mails to Jackie at fat fluffs) Doodles' confidence has grown and grown. He now bombs around the house, the stairs being no object for him and leads Pip into lots of mischief. They are now firm friends, often to be found snuggled up together or scoffing hay in their digging box. The Fat fluffs team told me Doodles could be a bit of a diva and I now understand as between me and Pip we have to meet his daily demands for head, ear and cheek rubs but we don't mind. We love Doodles, he makes us laugh everyday and he has made Pip a very happy bunny again. Thank you to everyone at Fat Fluffs, we couldn't have done it without you!
