ADOPTING FROM FAT FLUFFS
Before any rabbits can be reserved, you must pass a home-check. In order to get started with your home-check, please follow the advice below.
An average sized pair of rabbits need permanent access to an area of at least 60 sq ft (6 sq m) which can consist of the following:
· A base/shelter area of at least 12 sq ft. A shed, playhouse or penned off area indoors is the best way to provide this space but a 6ft x 2ft x 3ft (180cm x 60cm x 90cm), a 6ft single or 2-storey hutch is acceptable.
· A run/exercise area size: 8ft x 6ft (240cm x 180cm) or 48 sq ft permanently attached to the base. The run area should be fully enclosed with a minimum height of 3ft (1 m)
Although there is a degree of flexibility, our rabbits live in large custom built housing so to rehome them to anything smaller would be unfair on them.
If your housing does not meet our minimum requirements, is not in place or you are planning any changes, please contact us before filling in the form below. We can give you advice on housing or if there are any changes or adaptations you need in order to adopt from us.
