Fat Fluffs has grown at a surprising rate over the last three years and whilst we have people working hard to keep the day to day running as smooth as possible a little extra help is always appreciated and we do not have an exhaustive list of skills between us ..... yet!
Do you have a spare few hours a week, or maybe just a couple of times a year, and would like to help us in different areas? This is just the start of the roles we are looking to promote and fill and if you have a skill that isn't mentioned that you think maybe even might be beneficial to us, please do get in touch - we'd love to hear from you - volunteer@fatfluffs.com!

Will need to be organised and good with numbers. This will be a couple of hours a week, overseen and accountable to our treasurer, working from home with the occasional meeting as and when necessary. If you think you might be interested or would like to know more please contact Sally - sally@fatfluffs.com
Will need good communication skills and determination to keep in touch with the local newspapers and promote our events and activities in the local area. It will also involve web based PR interacting with our Facebook and Twitter supporters and increasing our web exposure. This will take a couple of hours a week during our six month busy period but tail off slightly in the winter months. If you think you might be interested or would like to know more please contact Chloe - chloe@fatfluffs.com
We are looking to take Fat Fluffs forward and in order to do this we are needing to put together a business plan. If you have experience in this field we would love to hear from you and be happy to chat through ideas and where we hope to be going. If you think you might be interested or would like to know more please contact Chloe - chloe@fatfluffs.com
Help with vet runs is desperately needed. We routinely have several rabbits going in for their ops and help with their transport would be really appreciated. We use Your Vets in Coventry so it's about 20 minute drive one way from HQ to the vets. All you need is your own transport and a spare hour as often or infrequently as you like! If you think you might be interested or would like to know more please contact Jo - team@fatfluffs.com
We are preferably looking for someone with some fundraising experience however if you don't have any and are keen to learn and happy to spend some time doing internet searches and asking lots of questions then we would love to hear from you. You would tie in with Abi, our events co-ordinator, as it would also involve fundraising events and challenges and would be very much part of the Fat Fluffs team as this is a vital part of us maintaining what we do. If you think you might be interested or would like to know more please contact Chloe - chloe@fatfluffs.com
You will need to enjoy working with children, communicate confidently and be able to explain and demonstrate rabbit care and handling in an age-appropriate way. We are increasingly being asked to visit schools and other children's groups, take rabbits along and deliver talks to the children. This provides valuable opportunities to promote rabbit welfare issues and the work of Fat Fluffs. If you have a spare few hours every now and again and would like to know more about what this involves please contact Abi - abi@fatfluffs.com
Do you have an eye for a bargain? We are looking for people to support our trading co-ordinator to not only maintain the website, keep up with orders, stock take, prep for events but also to reasearch and look out new and exciting lines and ideas for our Fat Fluffs shop. If you think you might be interested or would like to know more please contact Sarah - sarah@fatfluffs.com
Events are crucial to our fundraising throughout the year to maintain the running of the rescue and we are always looking for extra pairs of hands to help man them. If you would be interested in helping out for a few hours in your local area then please email Abi - abi@fatfluffs.com - and she will add you to her events mailing list and you can volunteer as often as you like or are able.
We rehome across the Midlands and sometimes it is just not possible to cover all areas. We are looking for people who would be happy to homecheck in their local area (usually a max of 5mile radius) and now we have taken on our new rehome and homecheck co-ordinator Jackie, all training and talking through will be carried out beforehand. If you think you might be interested or would like to know more please contact Jackie - rehome@fatfluffs.com
Not everyone is ready to take on the long term responsibility of rabbits. They have children who are inevitably going to leave home or get busy with exams in a few years and don't want to be left with the long term care of rabbits or the financial responsibility but as a family would like to care for them for a shorter term. Or you already have your own buns but have space and time to care for others as well. If you think the short term care of rabbits that need that little bit of one on one love and care is something you might be interested in please contact Sarah - foster@fatfluffs.com - and she will chat it through with you and explain how it all works.
Will need a love of animals and not be afraid of a bit of hard work! Our rabbits need ongoing care and housekeeping and if you have a spare few hours a week or a fortnight then all help is really welcomed and greatly appreciated by us and the buns. If you think you might be interested or would like to know more please contact Jo - team@fatfluffs.com
Will need a love of animals, confidence and some experience of handling and caring for small animals although training will also be given. Many of our buns are not used to love and attention and by being shown this they develop confidence and learn to be loved. As a result are that much happier and easier to rehome. This role will simply entail handing the rabbits, giving them cuddles, grooming and general health checks. If you think you might be interested or would like to know more please contact Jo - team@fatfluffs.com
Bonding your own bunnies can be really gut wrenching but when the emotional attachment isn't there it is really fun challenge and incredibly rewarding. We are looking for people to help us with the bonding of, not only our own bunnies to their new friends, but non FF buns too. It takes time and patience but all training will be given and once happy you can do it from home and all necessary cages etc will be provided. If you think you might be interested or would like to know more please contact Chloe - chloe@fatfluffs.com
As mentioned earlier this list is not exhaustive and if you have any other skills which you might like to offer we are always grateful for any help offered however large or small and would love to hear from you - volunteer@fatfluffs.com
Thank you!
