All I want for Christmas ...

All I want for Christmas is my four front teeth!

We are inviting everyone, not just our Fat Fluff friends but anyone's friends friends who would like to, to join us in the challenge of filling the bunny barn with Christmas decorations.

At Fat Fluffs we are seeing an ever increasing number of bunnies with dental issues – Toothy Bunnies.

Sometimes we are able to resolve dental problems through a change in diet or by tooth extraction but for some bunnies, such as Arnold and Pippin, neither is currently an option so they have to have monthly trips to the vets for them to be filed down.

It currently costs around £20 per visit to the vets for a bun to have their front teeth filed but it’s the stress of the repeated journeys that takes its toll. If Fat Fluffs are able to buy our own dental machine, despite it being a high initial outlay of almost £1000, it will not only in the longer term reduce our vets bills but it will also make the experience a lot less stressful for the rabbits.

So this Christmas we are focusing on raising funds towards this much needed piece of equipment. The FSI (http://www.thefsi.org/) have sent us 100 paper Christmas tree decorations. We are hoping to sell all of these, for a minimum donation of £1 each, and hang the decorations around the Fat Fluff bunny barn. The idea of the chain is to celebrate and remember our pets this Christmas and to help raise funds for the dental machine at the same time . We're asking, for each decoration bought, that you send us the message you would like written on the back, so each one is personal, and we will then hang the decoration in the barn.
