Fat Fluffs 2nd Birthday Party!
Where has the last year gone?! It didn't seem five minutes since our 1st birthday party and yet Fat Fluffs has already reached the ripe old age of 2! So, on Sunday 18th July we hosted our Birthday Party at our Solihull HQ.
Despite the fluctuating weather during the week we were blessed with a dry day and friends old and new packed the garden. There were dozens of foster bunnies in pens in the garden, more in the garden and the sanctuary Fat Fluffs free-ranging in the garden. We had had 22 new arrivals on Friday but had just about managed to squeeze them in! Lucy and Julian did a roaring trade on the BBQ, as did Alison with the teas and coffees. The conservatory was all hands on deck and looked fantastic at opening hour and special thanks go to Eloise who worked so hard during the set up. The bunny toys and treats were snapped up and everyone tried their luck on the tombola! The day flew by as we all chatted about and cuddled bunnies and we were all absolutely thrilled when we counted up the takings from the day. Our 2nd Birthday Party fundraiser had taken just a few pence over £1000 … this will help a LOT of bunnies. Thank you to everyone who supported us we hope you enjoyed the day too!
