Lizzie

Adopted by Alison, July 2009

Lizzie

We adopted Lizzie from you in July 2009 as company for our existing rabbit Chas.
Chas had originally been bought with his brother Dave as a present and guess what....Dave was a girl! renamed Davina! They had their own litter of babies who sadly at various intervals all passed away with no apparent cause. Chas and Davina were inseparable until one miserable day when the dog next door killed poor Davina. We vowed no more bunnies but after 3 weeks Chas was so miserable we had to do something.
Then we saw Lizzie and loved her instantly. We took Chas over to Vickie to start some bunny bonding and the following day it was decided the bonding was done, they were a match made in heaven. They have been devoted to each other ever since! I was told Lizzie could be a madam. She is hilarious. I built them a lovely run in the garden but Lizzie decided next door’s garden looked nicer (not the dog side) so she chewed through the fence and was found happily grazing in there! Next up, digging a hole under the guinea pig hutch, I think she is tunnelling to Australia. She is currently chewing the legs off the guinea pigs hutch to make it nice and lop sided! Lizzie also goes on a daily raid of their hutch to sample their food and check they are not getting better than her!!
Thank you so much for allowing us to rehome Lizzie we all think she is fab!
